A visit from a hero – Stevenson Public Library brings in Jackson Co. Chief Deputy to talk with kids

STEVENSON, Ala, (WHNT) — Kids got a visit from a local hero at Stevenson Public Library this week.

The library is participating in the national summer reading program. This year’s theme is heroes.

This week, they brought in a hero from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office to visit the kids.

Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen read a story and talked with the kids.

Judging from the pictures, everyone had a great time!
