SOMERVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)– Early this morning fire crews in Somerville responded to a 911 call of a house fire.

Fire officials say the person who reported the fire saw the smoke from several miles away. When firefighters arrived just after 1 a.m., the house was engulfed in flames.

At this point, fire crews believe the house was either vacant or no one was home when the fire started.
