Chamber of Commerce announces new Director of Cummings Research Park

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – On Monday, the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County gathered to announce that Erin Koshut will serve as the new Director of Cummings Research Park.  As the director, Koshut will be responsible for the marketing and management support for Cummings Research Park properties and tenants. As a member of the Chamber’s economic development program, she will also be expected to help with other economic developments around the community.

Koshut has worked in the Huntsville area for more than 15 years with companies like AkinsCrisp Public Strategies and Crisp Communications. She previously served as a member of the Huntsville Committee of 100, the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County’s National Government Committee, publicity chair for the National Children’s Advocacy Center’s 2013 September Celebration, and the 2013 and 2014 Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Liz Hurley Ribbon Run.

Koshut will take over as Director of Cummings Research Park on Monday, July 6. She will then immediately begin work with the city on the master planning process for the park as it continues to progress. When asked about the position, Koshut states, “I am excited to join the Chamber and look forward to leading Cummings Research Park into the future.”
