HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - U.G. White has served the Athens community since 1917. Thursday, the locally owned store announced it will expand to downtown Huntsville this fall. Owner Derrick Young said the former Crossroads Music Hall building on Clinton Avenue will be the home of their new second location.
The authentic general store is a historic shop in downtown Athens and offers a variety of items. Some of those goods carried by U.G. Littleton Leather Goods, Grand Trunk Hammocks, Great Eastern Cutlery, Heritage Red Wing boots and KEEN. There are also dozens of other quality brands, exclusive private label products, and candy by the pound.
