Auburn part of expanded 2015 SEC on CBS broadcast schedule

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – College football fans mark your calendars, the Southeastern Conference has announced an expanded broadcast schedule for the 2015 college football season as part of its SEC on CBS lineup.  The expansion includes two early season games featuring the Auburn Tigers.

The Chick-fil-A Kick off will lead off the expanded coverage.  The Auburn Tigers will travel to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta to take on the Louisville Cardinals Saturday, September 5 at 2:30 p.m.  Auburn’s next appearance on CBS will be against the LSU Tigers as part of the “SEC Game of the Week” Saturday, September 19 at 2:30 p.m. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Here’s a look at some of the other highlights on the 2015 CBS college football schedule:

  • September 12: Georgia @ Vanderbilt – 2:30 p.m.
  • October 31: Florida vs. Georgia – 2:30 p.m.
  • November 7: SEC doubleheader – 2:30 p.m. & 7 p.m.
  • November 14: SEC doubleheader – 12 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.
  • November 27: Missouri @ Arkansas – 1:30 p.m.
  • December 5: SEC Championship – 3:00 p.m.

The remaining “SEC Games of the Week” will be announced six to 12 days prior to the broadcast date.  This will be the 15th season CBS has provided national coverage of
