HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The United Way of Madison County needs the help of volunteers to serve their partners through their Days of Action, which runs June 3rd through the 6th.

Some of the work is labor intensive, but a lot of it isn't.

United Way of Madison County President and CEO Clay Vandiver notes, "There's registration tables and stuff, so individuals with limited abilities to physically do something can come and join us in different venues to work those dates."

They don't ask a ton of volunteers.

Vandiver adds, "We're looking for people that can do one hour to three or four or five hours depending on the project times."

You can browse the projects for yourself here to pick what you might want to volunteer for and go ahead and put yourself on the list.
