DECATUR, Ala. – An 18 wheeler carrying mulch flipped at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Wilson Street after storms moved through the Tennessee Valley Wednesday evening.

A culvert at Highway 36 jammed and caused flooding after a thunderstorm drenched the Tennessee Valley. While this occurred, an 18-wheeler ran off the roadway and into a ditch.

Wilson Street was closed while a wrecker righted the 18 wheeler and pulled it from the ditch. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Decatur police are not yet saying what caused the semi to flip.
