The three-story log home is located at 109 Shady Ridge Road, between Priceville and Somerville.  Neighbors called 911 to report the fire about 4:40 a.m.

Somerville Mayor Darren Tucker said he heard the sirens from the fire trucks early this morning passing by his house headed to the scene.

Three fire departments came to help.  Somerville Fire Chief John Stinson said crews spent hours searching for the body of the person who lived there.

The man's name has not been released yet.  The cause is still under investigation as well.
