OKLAHOMA CITY (CNN) - A photographer got creative to reunite a young father who died before his time -- with his family.  The image has gone viral, touching people around the world.

Taos is 6 months old, but he's now known the world over.  He is the son of proud parents Sierra and Lane.

"I'm pregnant, we've been together for a while and we have our entire life planned out," said Sierra.

But that plan ended last July, when Lane died in an accident.

"I pray every single day and I have a beautiful child to remind me of what I had," said Sierra.

That same beauty was captured in a mother-son photo, but it wasn't quite whole.

"I just got to thinking we don't have a picture with Lane in it," said Sierra.

And that's when a part-time photographer brought a family back together.  She found a photo of Lane that fit just right.

Kayli Rene' Photography has received an outpouring of support on her Facebook page.

"I was like 'I can't believe she actually did this,' it's like amazing and apparently everyone else thinks it is too," said Sierra.

One day on Facebook and the photos already been shared by thousands.  Most are strangers offering support Sierra never knew she had.

"Lane's not physically here with us of course, but that picture represents to us that he's always watching over us and he will always be there for us, no matter what," she said.
