Wanted: Pennsylvania Troopers seek murder suspect last tracked to Athens Motel

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) – Pennsylvania State Troopers are looking for murder suspect Randy Allen Herman after his girlfriend was found shot in the head. They last tracked him to a motel in Alabama.

Pennsylvania authorities say Randy Herman is wanted for the death of 50-year-old Gail Monahan whose body was found at her home in February.

Police say Herman is operating a maroon 2011 Ford Ranger pickup like this one bearing Pennsylvania registration plate YRC7108.

Investigators confirmed that Herman checked into an Athens motel on February 10. Police say Herman is operating a maroon 2011 Ford Ranger pickup bearing Pennsylvania registration plate.

Authorities are asking Athens residents who know anything about where Randy Herman may be, to call local police. You can also contact Pennsylvania State Troopers at 570-697-2147.

Herman used to work for a bee farmer in Desoto County Florida. Pennsylvania Police are casting their nets for Herman there, as well.
