Police search for men who took cash registers from Sheffield liquor store

SHEFFIELD, Ala. (WHNT) - Investigators with the Sheffield Police Department are looking for two men they said broke into a brand new liquor store and got away with a lot of property.

A surveillance camera from Stonebrook Spirits caught the scene early Tuesday morning. Two determined men took their time pulling the locked doors open to the liquor store on Cox Blvd.

Investigators said once the men got inside, they made off with both cash registers. Alarms went off, but the first people to arrive at the store missed the men.

Now, investigators are hoping you might recognize the duo and can help them track the men down.

With 'Make it up in March' recently instated, the Lauderdale County District Attorney is hoping to track down some of this week's most wanted criminals.

First, the District Attorney's Office is looking for Shameka Smith. They said she owes $484 from writing worthless checks.

Documents show Sonja Hinckley has also been busy cashing in on worthless checks. She's wanted for racking up $525 worth.

Victor Moncada is wanted by Russellville Police on a grand jury indictment for Burglary, Theft of Property, and Receiving Stolen Property.
