ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) - Happy Presidents' Day!  Perhaps a great way to celebrate the leaders of the free world and free market is to save money.  That's just how many businesses are celebrating -- national chains and small local stores, too.

It's a great day to save loads of money on everything from clothes to furniture to electronics.

In Athens, the place to go to find all things Alabama, some things Auburn and things for local sports teams too is a copier repair shop.  Mitzi Casebolt, co-owner of the Copier Doctors Gift Shop says their motto is, "Houndstooth - we have it."  It's located at 808 South Clinton Street.

Everything today is 25 percent off for Presidents' Day.  The Copier Doctor is the only one in Athens and keeps the Casebolt family afloat, although the copier is often buried under the stuff that attracts hundreds more customers each week.

"They can't believe my prices, that I am cheaper than the prices in the mall," said Casebolt.

She says she has kept her prices down for 25 years because of no overhead. It's a family run business that has only employed her immediate family.
