Lawrence County Tennessee authorities make an arrest in auto-pedestrian crash

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tn. (WHNT) – The Lawrence County Tennessee Sheriff’s Department is investigating a auto-pedestrian crash Friday night that seriously injured one man.

Deputies say the crash happened on Highway 43 south near the Lambs Ferry Road intersection. Investigators say a man was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say they arrested 22-year-old Zachary David Blake. They say the crash was the result of a father-son fight. Blake is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault. He is being held without bond and deputies say he will appear in court next week.

The victim of the crash is listed in critical condition, but is stable.
