UPDATE: Most teens okay following wreck involving overturned truck in Lauderdale County

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – There’s good news to report about a wreck that happened Tuesday where six teenagers were sent to the hospital.

Only one of the teens is still being treated.  The other five were treated and released from area hospitals.

The wreck happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 157 in the Cloverdale area.  A red GMC truck flipped into the side of the road near Garner Street.

Some of the teens were riding in the truck bed and were thrown from the vehicle.

It’s believed at least some of the teens attend Central High School.

Several agencies were on the scene, including State Troopers, the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office, the Cloverdale Fire Department and Shoals Ambulance Service.
