Six local veterans inducted into Madison County’s Hall of Heroes

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Monday evening, the Madison County Military Heritage Commission inducted six brave men into its Hall of Heroes.

The ceremony was held at the VBC North Hall.

Whether in a war-torn combat zone or here on domestic soil, these six men, all decorated with valor commendations, distinguished themselves by risking their own lives to rescue or deflect danger from others.

The men are:

-Joseph Viviano, Retired Air Force Major

-Paul Narcisse, Desert Storm Veteran

-Arno Hoerle, Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel

-Chris Johnson, Alabama National Guard

-Jeremy Thompson, Alabama National Guard Soldier

-Jimmy Dean Wilson, Vietnam Veteran
