University of Alabama student found dead inside fraternity house

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –  A student at the University of Alabama was found dead in a fraternity house Monday morning, according to our news partners at AL.com. 

22-year-old Parker Alexander Jordan died at the Theta Chi fraternity house Monday morning. Jordan was a junior from Fort Worth, Texas, studying accounting.

Steven Hood, the interim vice president for student affairs, issued this statement:

“The University extends its deepest sympathies to Parker’s family and friends,” Hood said. “Parker was a valued member of our campus community and he will be missed.”

No cause of death has been released.
