The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the distribution field, five of which should be in a managerial role. He or she will have experience working with IT applications support, WMS applications Oracle JD Edwards or EnterpriseOne.

The Vice President of Supply Chain will have vast experience working with third party logistics with in a multi-divisional company operations department. The VP will be responsible for deploying a program to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
On a more personal note, the VP of Supply Chain will have strong interpersonal skills required to earn trust at all company levels. Integrity is key: the VP must be a self-starter who is known and respected by peers in the industry. Typically this position will require 10 percent travel. This could be increased to 30 percent during busy seasons. The Vice President of Supply Chain will gather all information needed to identify areas of improvement. Using this data, he or she will translate solutions into custom software alternatives. He or she will serve as a liaison between the IT and distribution teams. Also in problem solving, the VP will work to design and produce new packaging methods. Since this is a supervisory role, the VP will train employees and ensure they have access to important data within the company infrastructure.
We are looking for a Change-Agent. We need someone who can think on their feet and drive results. With International manufacturing and national distribution, we need a leader in Supply Chain Management. You also need good communication skills due to the vast levels of customers, suppliers and employees. We are looking for a balanced background of logistics and IT knowledge that can be the bridge between the warehouse and IT to convey issues to IT people of what needs to be done/changed.
You will be interfacing with JD Edwards E1. This is a fast moving environment and you will need to be able to stay calm under pressure.
BS in Business or technical degree, but experience can be a strong plus.
