Monday’s events

Ashlynn Young was taken from David Crockett Elementary in Lawrenceburg on Monday morning.  Police say two men were in the car with the girl’s mother, but they did not come inside the school.

They drove away from the school in a four-door white sedan.  The car had an Alabama license plate and police thought the vehicle may have been headed toward Mobile, possibly to the small community of Wilmer.   No license plate number on the car was given.
