Pedestrian hit, killed on Sewell Road in Limestone County

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Alabama State Troopers are investigating an accident that killed a pedestrian Tuesday in Limestone County.

It happened about 8 p.m. on Sewell Road near the intersection of AL Highway 127, about one mile north of Athens.  Jerry Cox, 56, was killed when he was struck by a vehicle.  He lived in Athens.

Troopers have not released further details.
