LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. – Captain Stanley McNatt, Chief Investigator for the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, passed his 36th anniversary of service to the citizens of Limestone County on Sept. 1.

Sheriff Mike Blakely said, “We do not normally see individuals stay in law enforcement as a profession for more than 3 decades, but that rare occasion occurred yesterday.”

McNatt began his career in 1978 as a uniform patrol officer and worked through the ranks into investigation.

“I value his dedication, loyalty and judgment, and his untiring service in exceeding my expectations through the years. I consider him to be one of the finest investigative supervisors in the southeast, as well as a close friend. We congratulate Stanley on his 36 years of service,” Blakely said.
