MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – There will be a chance to receive potentially life-saving health exams for free on Wednesday, August 27th.

There will be no out-of-pocket expenses or even a co-pay.

Free health screenings will be offered in Madison and west Huntsville.

This is part of an outreach program from Huntsville Hospital.

The Mobile Medical Unit is kind of hospital clinic on wheels.

The green and white bus will be at the Madison Senior Center on Hughes Road from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm.

Healthcare workers will be offering free screenings to anyone in need.

In the afternoon, the Mobile Medical Unit will move to the Terry Heights in Huntsville for a community health fair at Meadow Drive Baptist Church.

Screenings will be available at that location from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
