AUBURN, Ala. (WHNT) - Bruce Pearl's weekend has been a busy one.
The Auburn men's basketball coach was cleared to recruit at midnight Sunday for the first time in three years as his NCAA show-cause penalty was lifted. After dozens of students greeted him at Auburn Arena, he got to work.
"I left at about 3:15 or so, because it got to the point where, even calling out to the West Coast, it was getting late," Pearl said Sunday. "I'm an early riser and not a night owl."
After getting some shut-eye, Pearl hosted several elite prospects on campus for a basketball camp. He was happy to finally put some names with some faces.
