The Program Director plans and facilitates clinical services and supervises the Unit Director. A visible and hands-on manager, the Program Director builds consensus, addresses opportunities for performance improvement, ensures that the contract and licensor requirements are being followed, attends monthly management meetings and leads the Utilization Review Clinical Medical monthly meeting, an active member of the treatment team, recruits/leads key program personnel, and is acting Executive Director in the absence of the Executive Director. The Program Director interprets, understands, and ensures compliance with regulatory and service delivery requirements.
This requires the candidate to possess a Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in a counseling, Psychology, Social work or closely related clinical field. Appropriate licensure is required (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) and supervisor experience is preferred. A minimum of 3 years experience in one or more of the following areas: adolescent behavioral healthcare, adjudicated interventions, special education, and family reunification.
