HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville parents and teachers are coming together to help voters make an informed decision in the upcoming municipal elections.  The elections will take place August 26.

The Huntsville Council of PTAs is putting on a candidate forum tonight (Monday, August 18) at 6:30 p.m. at Huntsville High School.

There are a total of nine candidates vying for three seats. Districts 2, 3 and 4 are up for election this cycle. The incumbents are not running.

Each candidate will have a chance to give an opening statement before answering questions submitted anonymously by PTA members.
