AUBURN, Ala. (WHNT) - Temperatures in Auburn tipped into the 90's on Saturday, and the humidity pushed some of the numbers on the field up into triple digits.

Gus Malzahn has been hoping for this kind of heat.

Auburn's season-opener is scheduled for 3 p.m. at home against Arkansas, and Malzahn's decision to start most of the Tigers' one-day practice sessions at 3 p.m. is no coincidence.

Malzahn wants his team used to playing in the heat.
