GETAJOB

Provides secretarial support to department, to include answering phones, and responds to customer calls.  Maintains appropriate levels of department supplies.  Must be proficient in the use of the personal computer including word and any MS programs utilized by the department.  Must be proficient with any computer based programs used within the department.

 

Education:

High School diploma or GED required.  Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

 

Experience

Minimum of two years experience as secretary or receptionist required, preferably in a hospital setting.

 

Additional Skills/Abilities

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.  Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond appropriately to customer complaints necessary.  Must be able to use computer, desktop publishing, word processing and spreadsheet applications, fax machine, copy machine and multi-line telephone.
