JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Jacksonville State football team hit the practice field for the first time on Friday night as the Gamecocks worked out for just over 2 1/2 hours under the lights at the Salls practice fields.
Head coach John Grass was very pleased with the results and said everyone was anxious and ready to get on the field to workout.
“It’s just exciting for everybody,” said Grass. “It’s finally here. When you are in the off-season, it just seems like it takes forever for it to get here.”
