LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. – A two-day search for a robbery suspect ended after he was held at gunpoint after a second robbery attempt, according to Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell.

Ryan Thomas Denham, 24, of Moulton, Ala., was arrested shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday on County 556 in the Caddo community. Mitchell said deputies surrounded the area after receiving a report that Denham had attempted to rob a man at gunpoint.

Sheriff Mitchell said that when the victim would not give Denham what he wanted, he walked away.  A short time later, a civilian was able to capture Denham at gunpoint. He was taken into custody without further incident, according to Mitchell.

Denham faces two counts of robbery and is also a suspect in a church burglary that occurred Tuesday night, according to Mitchell.  He is currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail with no bond set at this time.

Let’s understand something: A CITIZEN held the suspect at gunpoint. As much as law enforcement likes to think otherwise, they are civilians also and have no more rights than anyone else.

“What You Say” is a mental midget as are ALL Dem-O-Crap Libs! The NRA is here to stay, and thats a fact, Jack! Quite frankly, the Honorable Civilian should have popped a few caps when the criminal “made him feel threatened”. Low life criminals have NO right breathing the same air we law abiding citizens breathe!

Don’t gloat so much — it is not flattering! For every story like this there are many many more where things go very bad! Remember, even a broken clock is right twice a day!
