BOAZ, Ala. (WHNT) – Boaz Fire Chief Mike Sparks has been suspended, but the reason is not known.

Sparks is currently suspended with pay.  City leaders are not releasing any further details on the suspension, only saying a public hearing on Sparks’ future will be held the evening of August 11.
