Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Limestone County

LI Mobile Home Fire

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Limestone county authorities are looking in to a fire that destroyed a mobile home.

The fire happened on Looney Road south of Black Road just east of Athens.

Firefighters from Piney Chapel and Oak Grove Thatch responded to the mobile home fire just before 1:00 a.m.

They arrived to find the mobile home had burned to the ground.

The home had been used for storage.

There was no power running to the trailer.

Firefighters worked for about 45 minutes to put out the fire.
