Drum Corps International Returns to Huntsville

Drum Corps International and the U.S. Army Materiel Command Brass Band will present a joint musical event at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center on Thursday evening, July 24th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Apollo Court.


World Class Corps Crossmen from San Antonio, Texas, and Troopers from Cheyenne, Wyo., will join the Army Band at the Huntsville landmark for a free public event to showcase brass music beginning at 5:00 p.m. and face off DrumLine Battle exhibition at 6:00 p.m. The special experience will showcase the extraordinary talents of both the Army musicians and the drum corps percussionists.


Then on  Friday night, the U.S. Army is presenting sponsor for “DCI North Alabama 2014” where Crossmen and Troopers will compete along with ten other drum corps  at Alabama A&M’s Louis Crews Stadium.


Stadium gates will open at 5:00 p.m. on July 25, with the first performance beginning at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $25 - $35.
