MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Tons of clothes will go up for grabs on Saturday at Inside Out Ministries in Madison.

Impressive for Clothing for Confidence, an organization little more than a year old.

Organizer Nicole McDuffie tells us, “Our senior year in high school Madison came up to me and said, ‘Nicole, I have this crazy idea,’ and I was like, ‘Ok, let’s hear it.’ And she told me all about it, and how she had a heart for wanting to do something for the community and leave our legacy before we all went off for college. And I was like, ‘Ok, I’m ready. Let’s do it.'”

They helped over a hundred people last year, and they think they’ve got the clothes to help even more.

“In the hundreds, for sure,” estimates Clothing for Confidence Founder Madison Rolling.

Folks can find all kinds of items here.

Rolling lists off, “Pants. Shoes. Shirts. Accessories. Whatever it is for the first day that they’ll feel confident in and can leave happy with.”

Everyone walks away from the day with something.

McDuffie adds her favorite part of the experience, “I think seeing the kids pick out something that you can tell they like and are excited about. It makes you so happy, because you’re like, this whole summer was so worth it just for that one kid to put on those clothes that they love.”

You know kids love a new outfit. They love to feel good in what they wear.  But that feeling is contagious.

McDuffie tells us, “I’m so excited. I can’t wait.”

The sale runs Saturday, July 26 from 3pm to 7pm at Inside Out Ministries in Madison.

That’s on Gin Oaks Court in Madison.

Also, items do cost a dollar or less, so you may want to bring a tiny bit of cash or change.
