Huntsville, Ala. - (WHNT) The KKT All-Starz Baton Twirling team is making another trip to the Junior Olympics. Kristin Craig and her team brought home several medals last July in Detoit and hope to do the same this weekend in Des Moines, Iowa.

"I've got twirlers who have been twirling anywhere from four to twelve years right now going to Iowa," Craig said during one of her team's final practices before the trip.

The experience level has already helped this team from North Alabama place in the top six at regionals. That event in February qualified Craig's team for their spot this weekend in Des Moines. The twirling competition begins on Sunday and runs through Wednesday.
