MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Three workers suffered minor injuries when a building frame collapsed in downtown Madison on Friday.

The accident happened after 12 p.m.  at 18 Main Street.  Workers were almost finished with the framing on the site, putting up the trusses, when the structure collapses.

The workers suffered concussions and broken ribs.  They were taken to a nearby hospital but should be okay.

Madison Police and Fire responded.

Some of the framing fell into a nearby hair salon, breaking the window.  No one was hurt there, though.
