Wreck in Hartselle sends three people to hospital

HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Hartselle Police and Fire responded to a wreck at the intersection of Main Street and Puckett Road just before 12:00 p.m. Thursday.

Three people were in a red car at a stop sign, southbound on Puckett Road. A mother and child in a SUV were traveling west on Main Street.  Police say the SUV made a sharp turn onto Puckett Road and t-boned the red car.

Two females and one male were trapped in  the red car. Hartselle Fire cut off the roof of the car to rescue them. The two females were taken to Huntsville Hospital by ambulance. The male was also transported by ambulance but was taken to a different hospital.

The mother and child in the SUV were not injured in the crash.

Hartselle Police are still investigating the crash.
