Florence woman charged with robbing bank in North Carolina

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Florence woman has been arrested by police for allegedly robbing a North Carolina bank.

According to investigators with the Florence Police Department, 38-year-old Kimberly Jones Little was arrested on felony bank robbery warrants.

Police say the robbery happened in late April at the First Citizens Bank in Apex, North Carolina.

FBI agents tracked Little to northwest Alabama where she has been living.

She is currently awaiting extradition back to North Carolina where she could face additional charges.
