TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WHNT)- An Alabama football player was arrested Sunday morning and charged with DUI.

Defensive lineman Jarran Kentrel Reed was being held on a $1,000 unsecured bond, according to records at the Tuscaloosa County Jail.

Tuscaloosa Police say Reed had a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent, above the legal limit of 0.08.

Police say they saw Reed collide with another vehicle earlier this morning while trying to back out of a parking spot.
