Happening Downtown: Grotto Lights Concert & Restaurants “Behind the Scenes”

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Downtown Huntsville’s “Grotto Lights Concert” will feature two bands on Saturday, July 12th. If you’re looking for a real “foodie” fun experience, mark your calendars for later in the month. Here are the details on some upcoming events:

Grotto Lights Concert

What: Free concert featuring two bands Saturday, July 12

Where: Big Spring Park East

When: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Cost: Free

Details: Toy Shop is opening at 6:00 p.m. followed by Goat Hill String Band, out of Montgomery. There will be food trucks, as well as a light show happening at 9:00 p.m.

Behind the Scenes Event

What: Cotton Row and The Bottle will both be hosting “Behind the Scenes” events with the chefs

When: Cotton Row – July 28th from  5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. & The Bottle – August 19th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Cost: Cotton Row – $30, The Bottle – $35

Details: Wine and heavy appetizers will be available, along with a cooking demonstration. To reserve your spot, you can call the restaurant directly.
