MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – There’s good news to report about a decorative cow that was stolen from a Madison County family’s home over the July 4th weekend.  Baby Cow is back!

Someone tossed him in the ditch Thursday, and the family had to get a winch to get him out, but the Williams family says they’re thankful he’s returned.

“[He’s] in a little rough condition but still intact,” Lisa Duncan Williams posted on Facebook.  “We are so happy to have him back. Seems all the attention has caused whoever took him to return him!”

Representative Phil Williams, his wife Lisa and their son Tyler decorate Baby Cow and two adult cows for various holidays.  They sit along the family’s home on Old Monrovia Road and turn heads with their decorations.
