HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Officers responded to an attempted robbery at a North Huntsville gas station, and are still searching for the suspect.

It happened around 12:45 p.m. Saturday. Investigators say a man walked into the Fast Stop at 4901 Meridian Street and demanded money.

They say the owner hit the man on the head with a stick, and the man left the store in a Green PT Cruiser. According to the owner, the man has a tattoo on his left arm.

Officers have not made any arrests, this case is still under investigation.

  • What You Say

Only a progressive would applaude the escape of someone intending to rob by force, no surprise, can’t harm your voter base now can you?

I am a retired police officer with a tattoo on my left arm. I hope no one turns me in. If the “non-biased” authorities would report the race of the would be robber, it would be of great value to the public with their assistance.
