HOOVER, Ala. (ABC 33/40) – Hoover Police are searching for a man wanted in shooting death of his pregnant wife.

Officers responded to a domestic violence call early Saturday morning. A female caller reported a physical altercation between her and her husband. When officers arrived, they found the victim shot once in the head.

A witness reported seeing the victim’s husband, Brian Darnell Epps, running away from the scene. The victim, 29-year-old Rashon Deidrenette Bester Epps, was transported to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Detectives have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Brian Darnell Epps. They charged him with Capital Murder with no bond. The Capital Murder charge stems from the victim being currently pregnant.

Epps is currently on the run and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts should immediately call 911.
