The Media keeps making the “gun” & “gunman” an editorial comment in itself where as many of us are gun-owners and “gun-men & gun-women” as we are open carry or concealed carry citizens.

This continuous implied re-labeling of law abiding citizens thru the reports of criminal drug & assault perpetrators as the same is a constant attack on the 2nd amendment by associating law-abiding citizens with criminals.

Where do you see “gunman” in this article, shipdit? I’m sorry it bothers you and skeers you into thinking the 2nd amendment is being attacked, but the media reports when police seize guns from people when they make arrests. If you want to argue that doing all of this to get some pot and a few pills is nonsense, then go ahead. That makes sense. But if you think everybody is going to quit talking about guns because you don’t like it, then think again.

“The amount of money and of legal energy being given to prosecute hundreds of thousands of Americans who are caught with a few ounces of marijuana in their jeans simply makes no sense – the kindest way to put it. A sterner way to put it is that it is an outrage, an imposition on basic civil liberties and on the reasonable expenditure of social energy.”

Amen… everyone keeps talking about not having monies to run the cities and the states… but so much money is wasted putting these nonsense cases through the court systems… fine them, send them home, and stop placing these small time criminals in jail… they are just draining funds and over burdening the taxpayers. That is how they do the rich criminals… equal justice for all.
