Sanitation truck and train collide in Lawrence County

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. – Talk about a mess… The driver of this Lawrence County sanitation truck is in a hospital after his truck collided with a train Thursday morning.

The truck’s driver collided with a train around 9 a.m. on County Road 381. Crews tried to move the truck, but were forced to stop when it started to leak.

The train will require repairs before being moved. County Road 381 is closed at this time.

Paramedics took the driver of the truck to theĀ hospital. There is no word on his condition.
