GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)-  Guntersville Police now believe that a deadly motorcycle accident on the night of June 10th was the result of a hit-and-run.

Shane Dodd, 36 of Honeycomb, died in the crash.  His passenger, LeeAnn Ashley, 33 of Boaz, is still in critical condition at Huntsville Hospital.

Police tell WHNT News 19 that they have collected evidence that leads them to believe another vehicle was involved in the crash and then left the scene.   Saturday police impounded a 2012 Ford F-250 from the parking lot of the Pointe Bar in Guntersville.   It's believed that this truck was involved with the crash.

So far no arrests have been made, but police say they are actively working on this case.
