HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – First Stop, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless people in Madison County, Alabama, is excited to announce that Alabama football legend Phil Savage will be the keynote speaker at their fundraiser dinner on June 14 at 6 p.m. at the Huntsville Marriot. Tickets are $50 and seating is limited. The event will also feature a silent auction to raise money to provide services for the homeless. All donations are tax-deductible.
“We’re really excited to have Phil Savage speaking at our inaugural event. Phil Savage has been involved in almost every aspect of football at many levels. He was on the coaching staffs at Alabama and UCLA and served as scout, player-personnel executive and general manager with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens. Folks in Alabama probably know him well as a color commentator for the Crimson Tide Sports Network, or, as Executive Director of the Senior Bowl. Phil Savage has an amazing career and we’re looking forward to hearing his inspiring words. It promises to be a great evening,” says First Stop Board President, John Marshall,
