Madison Police Arrest 3 on Shooting Into Occupied Apartments, Drug Charges
MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Madison Police say on Thursday June 5 just before midnight, officers responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Flag Circle to a shooting. That’s at Carrington Cove Apartment complex.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered multiple shots had been fired outside and two separate dwellings and a vehicle had been damaged. No one was reported injured.
During the investigation, information was developed leading detectives to execute a search warrant at another residence in Madison where they located a weapon believed to have been used in the shooting.
As the investigation continued, detectives were able to identify three male subjects involved. 22-year-old James Dangerfield and Dedrick Hackler, 24, of Madison were arrested and both were charged with two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, one count of discharging a firearm into a vehicle. Marijuana was located during the search warrant and as a result, both were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They men were booked into the Madison County Jail.
Police say a 16-year-old male juvenile was also arrested for two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and discharging a firearm into a vehicle.
