MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Clothing for Confidence offers low-income kids a chance to get a new outfit for the first day of school, hoping to make difficult transitions easier by giving kids confidence in their clothes.
Founded by five teenagers in Madison, Clothing for Confidence helped over 600 families in its first year alone. Now, they begin the drive to raise money and gather clothes for their second year.
The clothing drive runs from May 19 until July 21. The “shopping” day for low-income families will be July 26.
The group needs the following items for students grades K-12:

- Madison City Public Library
- Madison City Hall
- Dublin Park
- Madison Chamber of Commerce at the Hogan Family YMCA
- Inside-Out Ministries
You can also give money by making out a check to Inside-Out Ministries for Clothing for Confidence.
