Police Responded To An Armed Robbery In Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police in Huntsville say a robbery led to a shot fired into an occupied apartment.

Police say three men were outside their apartment when three males armed with guns approached them and demanded property.

The robbery happened on the 3800 block of Squaw Valley Drive just after midnight.

Officers tell us as the victims were handing over property, one of the robbers fired his gun hitting a window in another apartment which was occupied.

Police say the robbers fled the scene and the victims were not injured.
