Stars Add to First Place Lead, Beat Birmingham 5-1

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The Huntsville Stars got their fourth straight quality start in their series against the Birmingham Barons on Sunday afternoon as Brent Suter threw eight shoutout frames leading the Stars past the Barons 5-1 at Joe Davis Stadium. Huntsville starters have allowed just one run in 28.2 innings in the four games against the Barons.

Scott Snodgress, the Birmingham starter began his day by posting four perfect innings.   The Stars finally got to him in the fifth inning.
