Help Manager Find Creator of Mother’s Day Card, Mother Never Received It
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The General Manager of Huntsville’s T.G.I. Friday’s called WHNT News 19 asking for help finding who made a Mother’s Day card. A restaurant server found the original card May 7 stuck between menus at the hostess table. The mother never received it. The manager wants to make sure the mother knows what the little girl did to honor her.
The card shows fine details such padded stickers, drawings and personal messages specific to the child’s mother.
General Manager Sam Mehrotra showed WHNT News 19 the card.
“This is not Hallmark. I mean, look at it; this is like a whole sheet of paper she bought. Maybe a teacher helped her with the project,” said Mehrotra.
The card’s writer signed the name Amiya, but no one in the restaurant remembers the little girl or the card.
WHNT News 19 wants to help Mehrotra find the card’s creator.
“I’m a parent. So, I understand. I care about this young lady. I really do,” added Mehrotra.
